How to play

One phone in the middle of the table.

Only one person needs the app. Everybody else just needs a hand. Coming next: everybody plays from their own phone by joining with a 4-letter code.

Fingers up

The fast way, made for a loud room.

  1. The reader reads the card and starts the clock.
  2. When it hits zero, everybody holds up 1 to 4 fingers at the same time.
  3. The reader taps in what everybody showed, and the app does the scoring.

Pass the phone

For when nobody trusts anybody.

  1. The reader reads the card out loud.
  2. The phone goes around, and each player taps their answer where nobody can see.
  3. The app reveals every answer at once.

Questions

Before you ask.

Does everybody need the app?

No. One phone runs the whole game. Everybody else plays by holding up fingers or by tapping on the phone when it's passed to them.

Is it free?

The app is free to download and comes with cards to play right away. More cards will be available inside the app, and only the host ever pays.

Can the whole family play?

Yes. The standard cards are made for everybody from the kids' table to the grown folks' table. Grown-folks cards are kept separate and are off unless the host turns them on.

How many people can play?

3 to 12 players. For bigger groups, play in teams.

Which phones does it work on?

Android first, on Google Play. iPhone is coming after that.

Get the app.

Android first, iPhone after. One download, and the whole room can play.
